Hit and Run rear bumper
Last weekend someone back in to my rear bumper. My insurance deductible is $500.00 to repair my bumper. Before I do this is there a better option?
Thank you
Thank you

Hit and runs stink, my condolences..
Maybe you could take the opportunity and replace the damaged bumper with a Type S rear or add an Aspec kit? Used part?

Sorry to hear. Someone damaged my front bumper about 8 months ago and it had to be replaced. I just went through the insurance route.

is this to repair or replace the bumper?? a good body shop will convince your ins to replace the bumper cover and fix any damage not seen which will run about $1K. a bumper repair will run about $400-500. i was rear ended lightly and the bodyshop convinced the ins co. to replace the cover over a repair which is what they initially wanted to do. however i didn't pay a dime since it was the other driver's fault.

All About Trance
You can purchase a rear A-Spec bumper from any of our vendors: Tim with oemacuraparts.com, WholeSalesPartsGuy (Kaleb), or rob_acuraoflynwood. Some deals can be had for $260 shipped (don't quote me on that price as I was skimming posts ). Install instructions with pics can be found on this forum as well.
