hids in the fog lights

hids in the fog lights

i want to put hids in my fog lights. should i get 8000k to match the top or 6000k

i'd match them if you have 8000K in the headlights, but if I were you i wouldn't have put 8000K in the first place
i think 8000K is at the threshold where the car gives off a ricey look
6000K D2S and 6000K H8 fog ftw

Does installing HID fog lights require an aftermarket ballast to house the new bulbs? If so, where do you find them?

Yes, you'll need a kit with ballasts and bulbs. If you're looking for quick and easy, make sure you get an H8 kit for 07-08 TLs.

I've got 3000K fogs and really like them.

yup id def. go with the 3000k i got a set on my RL and i love them i also replaced my DRL with yellow 9005 and i love how they look also very nice contrast, and with the hid's in the fogs i'd go with a relay harness to power the ballast directly from the battery but still turns on with your stock switch. imho

6000 matches the top....8000 will give u the really blue light output.
