HID replace with LED 2007 TL Type-S

No extra wires, just a wire/resistor/plug from bulb to OEM harness. I can snap a pic at lunch and post it later.

Just ordered some 3000k LED bulbs with resistors for the DRLs and fogs.
Will have them today and installed after work. I have replaced the DRLs already so that should be easy. And tips for the fog lights? I'm guessing I pull back the fender liner in the wheel well?

So I swapped out my stock DRLs for some 3000k LEDs () with resistor, don't work. I put my stock bulbs back in, works just fine. Not sure if it's bulb or resistor.
Anyone have luck with 3000k DRL bulbs that they can recommend?

So I bought the car from my buddy who already had LED bulbs in the DRL, but they weren't working. I removed those and put stock bulbs in, they work fine.

Seems like most of the guys here on the forums run resistors with grounding wires and to the battery terminal. @thoiboi mentioned these might work: https://www.vleds.com/shop-applicati...ra/r2-drl.html so I might give those a try.

Stock DRL are run in series to reduce the power output. To run LED DRLs you either need to modify car harness (like I did) or buy/make aftermarket harness with separate relay and power source.
I have a feeling that I posted the link to my thread too many times, but here it is again:

DRLs run at 6V. Not all LEDs are rated to run at that voltage and a resistor is not going to help that. That's why I was perplexed that yours worked. So that's means your a set works at that range.
The harness would provide full 12V power that LEDs need.
