HID for lower Fogs?????
HID for lower Fogs?????
Question for those that have added the accord fogs down in the lower grill.
Do they make HIDs to replace that stock accord fog light or not? No offense to anyone that has done it but I don't like that yellow light look.
I have 6000K HIDs in my head lights and when I add the fogs down low I want them to match. Is this possible? Please be as stupidly detailed as possible. I am Jeep talented with my wrangler and even though I have started to mod my TL pretty good I am still not "there" in understanding certain things.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hey Flask,
Yes, they do make HID's to replace the stock Accord fog light. Yes, you can get them to match very closely.
My
: HID fogs are counter-productive. Foglights need to add "contrast" to lighting to make them functional in fog. That's why you're taught not to use high-beams in fog, because it'll hamper your sight, rather than help it.
It's your prerogative, though, and many people do it.
For me, yellow fogs look great. Also, function > looks. This applies even if you live in an area that rarely if ever has foggy conditions.

just search the forum. 75% of those with accord fogs put in HIDs. you can see them in my avatar too. my hids are all 8000k and match perfectly. i hardly use my accord fogs, they are generally just for show. they can't be aimed all that well anyways. I have 2500k yellows in my stock fogs which are functional and do the job.
