Hid Lights

Does anybody knows the difference between the TL's HID vs the MAXIMA's HID? Why is it more Bluer/Purplish?

probably due to the intensity level. if you look at HID kits . the different intesities have different colors.

not true, all stock HID's are the same color temp 4300K.

the difference is the ballast and projectors used

It is most definate the projector lense. The Maxima has a lot sharper cut off than our TL. However, the TSX and S2000 puts on a pretty nice rainbow light show too.

IMO, when i see a maxima coming towards me, it's irritating. The light moves around too much and causes the color to change = hurts my eyes. It happens too with the TL but it's not that bad. I'm glad i chose the TL.

because European mandated self leveling and Americans didn't. As far as maxima goes, I havent had too many encounter with them HID on. So I will take careful look next time.
