hid bulbs....

i was wondering if i could change my hid bulbs to sumthing more blue....but i want the same britness..is this possible???

Same brightness? I doubt it. The only thing I've found would be Osrams new bulbs.

Osram 66240 CBI

These are spendy $180 a pair. Very bright and pure white

No. As your Kelvin (K) rating increases your brightness/output generally decreases. I would go with a 6K if I were you

Nope the ones i have in my avatar pic are the philips 85122+ 4300k. The pic is taken within the Colorband of the cutoff line which is why it looks blue/purple.

No you don't need an HID kit. Those usually come with ballasts. Any aftermarket bulb is crap, mis match color, don't last long, flicker upon start up. I have a set of 6000k for sale if you're interested. Blue out put had them in my car for a little bit. PM me if you're interested.

Yeah. Stock usually start around 4300 and can color shift to 4800-5000k after a few hours.
