I have been searching for replacment HID bulbs for the TL. I either want to go pitch white or purple, no blue. I wanted to know if anyone knows a good quality manufactuer for HID bulbs.

Sorry, its not my cup of tea. If you look at my pictures you will see that all my vehicles have a clean factory look to them. I am not an Aftermarket wheel type of guy, but to each his own.

if you want good HID bulbs that give off a purple hue, get the philips ultinon bulb. its rated at 6000K and is one of the best performing HID bulbs out there. don't get suckered into getting one of those cheap korean made bulbs. they often try to imitate the philips. the ceramic rod that runs along side the bulb is purple on the ultinon bulbs. alot of the imitation have adopted this as well but they are very cheap in quality.

10K color temp is really gonna effect the performance of HID. its basically only a little better than a good halogen bulb. i personally think that 4300K(stock) is the best lighting wise but the philips 6000K offers better color temp(slight purple) and doesn't sacrifice that much in lighting(30% less than 4300K).
