I have kaixen from Excelerate and really like them
get 5000k for closest to stock color with just a bit more blue on the road

4300k (kelvin color scale) is stock
Those can be found online, brands Phillips and Osram seem to be good
Get NEW bulbs only and replace in pairs
Wear latex/rubber gloves when touching bulbs to keep skin oil off them- not a good thing~

New bulbs need about 100 hours use-burn in time- to get their full color and brightness

Phillips 85122+'s. They wont color shift like the ones you have now, they will stay the same throughout their life span.

ALL HID bulbs do go thru a slight color change on break in/burn in, and as they get older they lose brightness

The death warning is usually a Pink tint on startup

bulb life 2500-3000 hours

if the bulb hasnt been tampered with and is installed correctly it takes about 50 hours for a nice burn to occur at which point it reaches its color peak. after that 2500 hours is when they start to die out.

The 85122+'s are not supposed to color shift, or atleast not as bad as the OEM Osram bulbs. Their supposed to keep 4300K, 3400 lumens throughout their life span.

thru the lifespan yes- good brands should stay at the rated color- otherwise its dieing

BUT I am only talking about the first 50 to 100 hours of use, they will go thru minor change and get brighter as they burn in and stabilize--

you know how the oem hid bulbs changes color like from purple to blue and white depending on the angle you look at it.. is this caused by the projector or bulb?
