I was driving on the freeway talking on the phone, using the HFL, and all of a sudden it cut off my phone call and was stuck on the "main menu" screen. I couldn't exit the HFL setting. I actually had to pull off on the freeway shoulder, turn off the car and restart the car to get it to reset and turn off. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

 

yes it has happened 2 me.... just leave it alone, it would shut off

Glitches have happened occasionally, where the HFL locks up or doesn't initiate properly. However, if it is not repeatable, occurs less than once every 8 months or so and self-corrects upon restarting the car, I just wouldn't worry about it.

It happened to me before, I had to unhook the battery. The next day I took it to the dealer and they replaced the HFL. It hasn't happened since. Since you have on 08, take it in and they will replace it under warranty.

 

happend to me before. i said "call matt" it said "dialing 8 0 8" i was like wtf and hit end then froze up... not to mention i couldnt use hfl OR my radio/cd player. went to work came back a few hrs later worked fine. you'll find that plenty of people have had problems with this. I think the system has a fetish with the numbers 8 and 0. another time i said "call garrett" and it said "dialing stephanie" lol. i dont use it much anymore cus of this but it is still funny every now and then to hear what it has to say after you clearly tell it what to do :lol:
