Well, I am brand new to the TL world---just bought an 05 Silver TL 5AT/Navi---so I thought that I would introduce myself to the forum...My wife and I just moved here to Durham NC so that I can attend Duke Law...Just got out of the Air Force about 6 months ago (KC-10 Pilot) so I'm starting a little different life here. Anyway, I've always enjoyed these forums for the vehicles I've owned (Rubicon, R-1) and I'm excited to get to know you guys and gals here in TL world...

I drove a 1986 Legend back then. I found that for service Leith Acura in Cary were better than Performance Acura in Chapel Hill, notwithstanding the longer drive. (If you go down there in the morning, the traffic shouldn't be bad because the jam-up on I-40 is the reverse of most other cities--it goes FROM Raleigh TO RTP in the morning and vice versa in the afternoon.) I doubt the same two service advisors still work at Leith....trying to recall their names....I think one was a young guy named Adrian and I don't recall the other.

I heard that performance wasn't the best dealership around here---one of my buddies was burned there by the service guys...I actually bought the TL from Leith---those guys there seemed really good to deal with...

As far as the UNC guy out there, don't worry, I was a closet UNC basketball fan until I came to duke...

I cannot remember what it was that made me decide to switch to Leith, but there must have been something I was dissatisfied about (it was 8 to 9 years ago--late 1995/early 1996--when I switched).
