Hey all! New Acura TL owner here and just wanted to say hey!
Hey guys I'm beyond excited to be an owner of a 2006 Acura TL that I bought about 5 days ago . Its in great condition with zero wear on the interior and the only visible wear is a quarter-sized dent in the hood.
I was just wondering if you guys think I got a good deal:
List price was $11,300 and I got it for $10k. It is a one owner vehicle with just over 82k miles. I also got it inspected by a local honda-acura mechanic and he said that he couldn't find any issues at all.
Also I'm wanting to mod this beauty and I just don't know where to start... any suggestions?

congrats! regarding mod suggestions, give us some of your goals such as performance (you can add some but the AT isn't a great platform), aesthetics, wheels, height, etc. lots to do and lots has been documented for the past 10 years so make sure to search the garage and the performance section. the photography section can show examples of what you may want to do.
also the forum search function isn't great, your best bet is to google search "something site:acurazine.com" which will provide site specific results.

If I may suggest- I'd mod the car for looks (wheels, aspec body kit, etc, etc) but I wouldn't mod for performance besides suspension upgrades and exhaust (exhaust is mostly for looks and sound, not so much for performance). The automatic TL is a money pit if you want to go for performance, however, you can make the car look very nice.

Well according to cars.com you got the only 3G within 100miles of okc so looks like a good deal to me

Congrats, look into the carfax history. You are due for 105k service if the previous owner has not done it yet. They are roughly about $800-$1200.

^^ My headlights are "modded" to look like your Type-S ones so I would consider you have modded headlights already

OP it's a decent price. If it was an 07 -08 at that price then it would have been a steal. Congratulations and welcome.
Get the A-spec kit. Although you may have to purchase and then have some parts painted to match as many sets are no longer in production and there are a couple Aziners selling A-spec wheels in the Black Market

Free mod, get rid of the body side molding for a cleaner look. Then tint, body kit and wheels. Skip most of the performance mods, too much money for too little gain. XLR8 J-Pipe if you have extra money.

Thanks guys! I don't plan on doing any real performance mods besides suspension and exhaust. I looked into the A-Spec kit and I gotta say that's a great suggestion! I would like to find some angel eyes as well as a good looking set of rims. I've been looking around the forums and thanks for all of the great suggestions!
The car itself was 1 of 2 3G TL's within 150mi of OKC when I bought it. It was by far the lowest mileage and the cleanest so I was willing to pay a little more then I would have it I went for one already at 100k miles and a few more blemishes.
