Here's a random thought...

After looking closely at this post...

https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...78&postcount=2

the pics of the fenders near the A pillar and the way they curve exactly the same on the TL and RL by the door.... If both cars are built on the Accord chassis... I thought, I wonder, could you swap the fenders, bumper, hood, grill, headlights and make a TL look like a RL in the front, or visa versa? The cars are pretty much the same width, same wheel base, I THINK it would work. Would be an interesting project (not one I have the $$$ to do) but just in case anyone is crazy enough, I think its possible...

NOW, what might be a little more feasible is for those of you that want turn signal mirrors. if the A pillars are the same, the RL mirrors may very well fit the TL. Would be nice if we had an Acura Parts guy on the board to look at the mounting points of both mirrors to see if they are in fact the same....

Opens up quite a number of possibilities

I quickly looked on Acura.com, the dimensions width and wheel base, is damn near close, in some cases, .1 inches. I think a broshure would be more acurate as Acura.com doesn't seem to be (as we saw when the 05 data was posted)

Yeah I have... but that probably entail a bunch of custom work, I'm talking about this might being bolt on with minor custom work.. that would be pretty cool... unfortunatly the 2 parts sites that we have don't have the 2005 models up yet... but once they do... I might go ahead and try to put RL mirrors on the TL
