i just bought a 2005 acura tl no navi from an auction and my idles rough,went to dealer they said cylinder 1 is misfiring and also my car makes an high pitch whine noise the fast i go the louder it gets getting mixed with road noise acura said its my transmission does this mean my transmission will go out eventually or it will just make the noise and still work properly looking to hear from you guys thanks

Does it make the whine in every gear? how many miles are on the car? maybe you should think about changes out the 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches. Do some research on the forum to help you out.
