Help? Want to Install Footwell Lights that Connect to my Headlights on '04 TL

I've been searching on the forum, maybe not hard enough, on any help on how to connect my footwell/under dash lights to turn on when I turn on my headlights. I've seen a very helpful DIY on this, but he connected it to his Accord fogs. Is it possible to have mine connected with my headlights? If so, can I have the link for the DIY or where the fuse is for me to connect it to. Thanks.

Makes more sense to connect them to your interior lights, no?
That way they turn off while you are driving.
Mine are connected to my interior lights so its all in sequence

Honestly, I'd like them on while I'm driving. Just a personal preference. I know someone who has them connected to their fogs, and he drives with them on at night, and he doesn't have any problems. I like em that way.

Also, if I wanted them on with my headlights, I read that someone on here connected his LED strips with his heated seat switch, so that every time the headlights come on, so do his LED footwells. If I approach it this way, do I still need to tap into the wire harness? Or can I just ground the negative wire on a bolt?

You'd prob get more help in the Audio, Bluetooth, Electronics & Navigation forum on this. Since its not a performance part & modification question really. Sounds interesting, I don't think I've seen it done. Pics?

You're probably right, haha. I'll try my luck over there. Thank you. As far as pictures go, what do you mean? If you just search "Footwell Lights" you'll see a lot of people who have done this. I just can't find who did it with the headlights on.
