Arrow Help with tires

Hey everyone, I did a search and found some information on new tires but I was hoping you could help me out a little more. It seems the Michelin tires are what everyone is buying. Which model? Pilot Primacy's or Michelin Pilot Sport A/S? I may be getting new tires on my TL and wanted to know which was the best. Any reviews or opinions would be appreciated - Thanks

Thumbs up

I 'm replacing mine with Yokohama ES100 in a bigger size for better handling & to protect the rims. I'm getting 255/40/17. Tirerack has them for $116 each. I had these on my S80-T6 & loved them. Very nice aggressive tread & great reviews.

I haven't replace mine (yet) but it seems many people are getting the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. I'd say the Falkien's are the second most popular.

How long are the OEM tires supposed to last? Its a lot of money to spend on a new set of tires that are basically brand new. Maybe i'll just wait a year. Whats the opinion in the forum? replace asap? or wait until tires become older and need to be replaced. Is it really that bad that I need to replace within the first few weeks?

Do they feel bad to you? If not, keep them, if yes, either fight with dealer/Acura, live with it, or replace them. How long the tires will last depend on your driving habits, but with a rating of 260 I figure they will last about 20,000-25,000 miles.

Thanks for the info Ron. I'll probably end up sticking with them for as long as i can take it then upgrade. My dealer isnt offering much help with the matter so I'll just wait a bit, get some use out of my current tires and upgrade around 10-15k miles. Anyone else recommend good tires to upgrade to?
