Check your tire pressure to begin with.

Your tires are squeaking? Are you sure it's not your brakes that are squeaking when you press on the brake pedal? More detail, please, thanks.....

It really helps if you guys can give some 411 for us gearheads when you pose a question as nebulous as "my brakes squeak". This is like headaches, one of the most common complaints people have.

Example: My car's brakes started squeaking after I (did/did not) have the pads replaced.

My car has XXXXXX miles and i drive mostly in stop and go traffic. That sort of thing.

If you do mostly stop and go, my guess would be you have a buildup of outgassed brake volatiles on your rotors. I would find a deserted road and get on the brakes hard a few times, with a cool down in between of a mile or so.

If your pads are fresh, did you break them in properly? 100 miles of general suburban driving to get the "green" out?

If you have a lot of miles, it could be the wear indicators.

If you had the pads replaced, they may have forgotten the shims. Or they did not grease the caliper retaining pins with silicone grease.

Need more info.
