I just debadged the rear and I wanna paint the middle A emblem black. Iv search around but cant find solid directions on how to get the A off, i know its bolted on, but how to get it off is beyond me.

 

It isn't bolted on. It has 3 little 'plugs' that stick in the trunk door and sticky m3 kinda tape on the edges to keep it stuck on.

You should be able to just get some dental floss or thin string/fishing line and slide it under the emblem to help it come loose then just pop it off
