So i noticed my rear drivers side tire was low on air and i found this little stick wedged in it.... the tire has a little life left in it and im preparing to buy a whole new set in a couple months so i want to plug it but i dont know if this is a spot i can get away with it. LET ME KNOW!

 

take it to a tire shop and tell them you need a plug. they'll tell you if they think it will work or not.

 

Usually once it gets close to or on the sidewall, you can't plug it. +1 on taking it to a shop and seeing what they say.

 

I think thats too close to the sidewall to plug.

 

+2 on take it to the shop and have them look at it.

 

here in mn at discounttire.com . they say any nail on sidewall is automatic replacement.

 

Looks like youll need New tire :/

 

It might be the camera angle but that tire looks shot anyway.

I say plug it at home and get a new set on the way.
