Sorry for the short notice, but I have decided to go on a spending rampage with my 05 WDP TL. Anyway, tomorrow I decided why not start off my long list of mods with some tints. I live in NJ but go to school in Indiana where my car stays most of the time. I know tints in the front are illegal in NJ (bullshit) but I will take the risk and get them tinted anyway. So the question is...how dark? I do not want to get pulled over and I know below 30% on the back in NJ you can (most likely not though)

Anyway, stay at 30?, 25, 20?
Your expertise would be greatly appreciated!

 

I'd say go 25% all around which is not too much or not too little and not as noticeable, obviously, with a 10-20%.

 

I've seen one member go 15% all around and 50% on the windshield. Looks great! The extra 50% on the windshield makes the rest look darker.

 

Not only from an oncoming driver's stand point are they a PIA, but If you were on a police force you wouldn't think it was bullshit!

 

maybe, I dont see why tinted windows hurts the police force. Especially since every other state its legal in. I think new jersey laws are the PIA

 

Ive been pulled over at least 7 times for tint tickets, but I dont complain because its my fault and Im gonna deal with it. I just get mad at the fact that my tint is 30% and you can see thru it, but the people with 5% tint dont get pulled over... What color is your car and interior? that also makes a difference on how dark they look. I have 30% and think thats perfect, not too dark and not too light.

 

I have a WDP TL tan interior. Just got it done... 30% i think its looks pretty dark since the car is so light
