Exclamation Help with my 05 TL w/ only 23k miles!

I just picked up an 05 TL fully loaded with 23k miles. Clean car drives great but when I looked under the hood there were what appeared to be 2 bolts missing.

Here's a clear picture of the bolts, they're the front 2 silver bolts:

These 2 are not on my engine. There was also what appeared to be oil deposit around the engine below where those 2 bolts were suppose to be. Can someone explain what may be going on here?

I'm excited to own this car and hope everything is ok with it. Thanks for the support/help with this and I hope to visiting the forum often!

Those two bolts hold the fuel rail down.

Was this a salvage titled buy? I would take it back immediately. No telling what other bolts were left off.

The used dealer needs to resolve this...plus the overall concern of what else is missing or fell off as KN_TL has stated.

You should take it to an acrua shop to do a full look over inspection to tell you what else is wrong with it/missing.

oops, you guys can laugh here in a second... it's below those 2 bolts there are 2 smaller holes for bolts. maybe an optional cover or something?

93/94 carfax report. picked it up for 20k out the door with a 2k trade in... think a woman drove it cause 3 rims are scuffed and 1 place needs paint repair (which he's going to fix and is part of the deal). i like the wood trim and beige seats. has the navi and els dvd audio, can't wait to test that out.

i'm hoping i can hold this car and make it last 100k+ even after i get my fun sports car in a couple years.

WOW! What's up with bashing the woman drivers? I don't have ANY scuffs on my rims or damage to my car that was caused by me. I did buy the car used and there is one scratch on one of my wheels but that was there when I bought the car!

I agree that some woman drivers are careless but there are MANY, MANY, men drivers who are just as careless. It's all about your driving ability NOT weather you are a man or a woman!

BTW, I do all my own mods too...
I'm getting ready to do some puddle lights, and NO I am not using the 3M double sided tape. I'll post some pics for you so you can see women are very capable!

well to be honest what really gave it away was the pink "fight against breast cancer" sticker on the back driver side door

didn't mean to offend the woman out there! but yes CarrieLynn keep us posted

now does anyone know what those 2 holes for bolts would be used for? again, they're small and in front of the ones i originally thought were missing...
