Help me out Aziners!!
Help me out Aziners!!
So about 6 months ago I picked up a ASM '07 TL-S. I love it! It's in GREAT condition! The only thing is that even before I bought my ASM, I wanted a WDP. But I decided to get mine, because I got a better deal on the ASM and it was in better condition than any WDP's that I looked at. I've always had a thing for white cars! Just for the hell of it (because I was bored at work), I decided to look to see what kind of deals are around for a WDP. I found a, what looks to be, very clean WDP at a Carmax in VA. I live in Chicago, so they could port it up here for $449. It only has 19k on it and I currently have 15k on mine. As long as I can break about even on it, from what I'm paying now, I'm considering trading mine in for it. I also called and talked to a sales rep over there, and he said the car's spotless! What should I do!? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
If it was me, I would stick with what you got. First of all you have taken care of it since you gotten it. You don't know the exact condition of the Carmax one just because you weren't the driver of it. Lets face it nothing is as valuable as your own care in your car. I was my car every week, I know firsthand!
The ASM color is nice and pretty rare. Don't take the sales rep's advice, there job is to sell it to you. They could care less what happens after that, they just want to make their money. If you really want it, its your decision in the end, but make sure you inspect it and test drive it before making a big decision. I think your good the way you are!! Goodluck

EcKo,
Stick with your ASM Type S. I've got one too-love the color-especially because of the metallic finish. I like red cars, I have a Sebring convertible that I loved, but it got totalled in an accident. I wanted another red car-even a TL, but the ASM is much easier to keep clean than the WDP. Plus, you can't beat the color in the sunshine!

Love that sparkle !!!

I highly doubt you're going to break even by trading to another car. Talk is cheap especially from a salesman, when its all said and done it'll cost ya. ASM is a hot color if you do your car right. I have an 05 SSM and was hesitant at first about buying it as I was never a fan of silver cars, but I too got a deal and went for it. I've done a few things to it and I love it more than ever. I catch myself looking back as I'm walking away from a parking lot and thinking, damns that car is sexy.
I say keep it, people with WDP will say get WDP. I say make the car you have even hotter and put them all to shame.

Unless you can fly down to look at it and test drive it, I wouldn't do it. The sales man will tell you anything to get a deal. Even with pics, it'd be hard to really tell the true condition. WDP is a nice color, I have it too. But you don't want to get something site unseen and hate it later. Perhaps another WDP locally will pop up. Keep lookin.
