how do you properly remove all 4 dome light plastic covers? i dont want to mess up like i did with my courtesy lights and make little indents on the plastic and leather :/

I used a flat head screw driver. A small one. Stick it in the end where you push in to turn on the light. Then just pry it out. Not hard.

 

for the rears, just push one in and take a screwdriver and pry it out from the gap in the middle.

same for the fronts, after pushing it in, pry it out from the side that's closest to the middle

 

you literally just pop it out. Just stick a small flat head or knife in on the side that gets pushed in and pry it out. If you can tie your shoes, this mod can be accomplished.

 

Here's a DIY thread about it. It's what I followed to install mine. I would suggest having some clear tape on hand to help you remove the lights. Just wrap it around the light and connect the ends of the tap to make a handle to help you pull them out.
