HELP!!! Installed LED's now turn signals are solid.

I recently had two led lights installed in my front turn signals. Everything was fine till later that night when I turned on my headlights. To my surprise when I tried to signal, I couldn't. I pulled into a lot to check my turn signal fuctions and sure enough they solid.(not blinking) I recently performed a mod using a 12ohm resistor in the relay near the fuse panel under the steering wheel and still the same thing. Fellow Aziners any suggestions?

That's really strange. That flasher mod didn't work at all. maybe the load is too much for the relay mod to handle. Shoot Roger55 a pm maybe he can help you out. One other thing is the resistor directional in the sense it needs to be put in with the color coded rings to a specific side? I don't remember being as I haven't been on here much lately.

you know its .12 ohm ,NOT 12 ohm. that might be your problem right there.

A diode is directional; a resistor is not.

and CONSIDERING that OP, since a LED is just a Light Emitting Diode, they are directional, just for shit and grins lets just try putting the stock bulbs in the turn signals, and check to make sure everything works properly (flash rate should not really matter as long as it flashes)

but what really got me though the other day was on a POS chevy Blazer, when one of the front bulbs was not plugged in fully (owner tried replacing it themselves) is that whenever you turned on the lights is that that arrow indicator lit up solid on the dash (along with when that side blinker was turned on, BUT the rear turn signal flashed as normal though )

also another couple of test, with the headlights off, and also with them on; turn on each turn signal, and WALK around the car and verify the operation of each corner's lights (and dash indicators)

next thing, is let's do the same thing with the headlights off, and on, but instead of the turn signal, lets do the HAZARDs though

also next thing, is let's pull that flasher out, open it up, and reinspect your solder joints, maybe you caused a solder joint to short out to another circuit IDK

no mention of damage, because IT WON'T damage the car, it's a design feature to tell you that a bulb is out (so it is a normal operation mode if you want to call it that)
it's more annoying then anything, and looking like
