Help Changing Bulbs on Outside of Car

Are there directions for changing all of the outside bulbs for the car? I did the inside with LEDs but the outside doesnt seem to have access to the bulbs.

Thank you

Can you be more specific as to which ones you're trying to change? Your question is vague.

The direct answer to your question is yes. There are directions.

Now we need to know which ones you're trying to change out so we know which directions to give you. k

Also, just take a look at the licence plate.
How do you think you can access it?

remove some of the padding in the trunk. there are plastic clips that hold the trunk liner in place.

The front turn signal bulbs are kinda a hassle. But not a big deal. Depending on the side your working on turn your wheels to the inside so you can access the front part of the inner fender splash shield. Undo a couple clips and peel back the liner. You'll be able to see the the plug for the turn signal bulb. Undo that and swap your bulb.

The front reflector is similar. Except you have to peel back the back half of the fender liner. You'll be able to see it. The rear one might be accessible through the trunk. I'm not sure though.

can anyone give me a link to installing all these bulbs? I would rather not sift through hundreds of pages to find it.

What I really want to swap out right away are the vanity mirror bulbs. and rear license and reverse bulbs

take out the liner on the trunk. its held by plastic clips that you use a flat head screw driver to pop off.
next, reach into the the license plate area from behind. pop out the little plastic covers. you'll expose the bulbs. now disconnect the bulbs. put new LED bulbs in and do the reverse to put back together.

the only way you'll know what i'm talking about is if you go in and explore for yourself. you wont hurt anything in the trunk.

ALSO, IDM.....we have something called the 3G garage. read through some of the threads. I'm sure you can find what you're looking for. STop being lazy and shift through the threads...

I found the DIY. heres a hint. go to The Champs post. he posted a link. click that link. then click on the DIY section...it says CLICK HERE TO OPEN AND SEE LISTINGS OF TOPICS.
then press ctl+f...then type in e-035

WTF is that supposed to mean. It's sad that you bite the hand that feeds. I have a full time job as does most everyone else in this forum. If you care about your car at all then you'll take the time to figure stuff out on your own. I try to help the noobs but they don't listen. Noobs need to search.

USE THE SEARCH FEATURE. Don't like the one here on Acurazine? Go to Google and type in "Acurazine +" whatever you want to search for.

Jesus. I feel like the main page of the 3G section is full of questions that are answered in the 3G Garage.

that's because it is...

everyday there are questions on the main page that have been answered numerous times. it's quite alarming how people cannot do a simple search. google yields everything you would ever want to know. the search feature here on the forum will as well. you just need to take the time to search. i always hesitate to ask a question here bc once i take a few minutes to search, BOOM there it is everytime.

If you own a 2008, see page 301 of the owner's manual.

I can't speak for other years.

I havent taken a look at the vanity mirror lights.

when you look at it later today, IDM, see if a butter knife can pull it out.
use a butter knife.
use a cloth draped over the knife. this protects your car.
try prying the light covers off.

the vanity mirror lenses are almost like they're "glued on" so to speak. but...they will come off. work all the angles and sides on the lense cover, you will see a clip on the left hand side in the middle. that clip is basically what holds the lense in, minus the glue like material that sticks to your ceiling cloth.

i got mine off fine, it just took a bit longer than i'd liked.

even if the answer is there so what theres not so much activity here where the threads are in the way. Its a chance for members to help each other out if they can. The owner of the forum will appreciate it too more activity is more revenue from the site. Basically if you dont want to answer just move on theres no reason to post rude search search search messages
