Help with back seat clips?
was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the seat clips that are under the rear seat. my clips were broken and i need to replace them but cannot get them out of the frame! this is urgen as i need my backseats tomorrow! thanks guys
you have to really yank it out really hard. I replaced mine with new one. It was a bitch to take it out but they do come out. The tools that i used is a door panel popper and a flat head.

the seats move around when i break it slides forward.....and my audio install company orderd them for me cuz they broke it so i dont know how much they would cost. i didnt want them to mess anything else up so im gonna install myself.
If you mean the rear seat bottom cushion, you need to pull the corner up on each side and reach for a black tab. Pull the tab towards you while you take the pressure off the seat and the side will pop up. Do the same to the other side and the seat come right out.

LOL.... your supposed install guys suck ass. How the hell did they break these clips? They need to go back to school or learn about the car they are taking apart before they break the car apart. Sounds like the install jerks need to pay for there fuckup?.?. Just trying to help out.

I'm a jackass, I broke mine too the other day. I had one side off and forgot the other was attached and yanked and bent the other side. Damn, didn't know I was that strong, lol. I looked at how to pop it out for about 5 min.......I didn't want to waste time, I was in the middle of another project so I decided to fix it later, it's not that important.
To me it looks like a 1-way pop in deal. I didn't see any tabs to depress and take it out. I might actually have to CUT it out! There's probably no other way to do it without scratching the paint around there which I don't want to do. Anyone know a trick to get it out??
By the way your audio guys wired with zip ties OK but they didn't use wire loom? Yikes! That's asking for trouble. All the wiring on my car looks stock because it's loomed and a lot safer that way.

My seats are out for my sub install and decided to leave them out for possible weigh reduction (I know subs and weigh reduction does not belong in the same sentence).I was putting my summer wheels in the car and busted one of these. It looks like number 11 in this diagram and I'm ordering it now from http://www.acuraoemparts.com for $1.71 and what ever shipping is.
