Howdy fellow ohio folks. I picked up a TL-s a few months ago, and I live in Dayton and am traveling to Cincinnati all the time. Also drive a blue s2000 on the weekends.

Here's a crappy cell phone pic of when I picked her up. Bought her with 112k miles, major 105k service done. One previous owner. Black interior, 6 speed. Paid $13k out the door. Cars paint is a little rough, although I didn't notice when I bought it because it was raining like a mofo when I bought it (don't buy cars while its raining). Interior is 9.7/10 and exterior is probably 7.5/10. Just needs a good detail. Wheels are all curbed to hell. But, its a DD, so as long as it survives the winter(s) I'll be ok.

WOW both cars look really nice and clean.. I wish I had enough money to have a weekend car and daily driver car. Are both cars stock?

 

The TL exterior certainly isn't clean... I think the previous owner drove through a fence. Lost of scratches all over it, although 90% of them can be buffed out.

Yes, both cars are bone stock, down to the air filter. S2000 still has a warranty on it, even.

 

I also have a stock car for the most part. I painted my emblems and grill just to give my car a more personal look but thats about it.

I was wondering if anyone has any great acura/honda mechanics in the central ohio area, my '06 TL is up for A14 service and I'm looking for where I want to get work done.

Also looking for recommendations on what everyone feels is truly needed to be serviced in comparison to the recommended list on the A14 code.

I just bought a 1999 CL with 154K and in pretty decent condition in Southern Ohio...Where are you located? Don't see a lot of Acuras around here.

 

I recommend Honnaman. 5505 Chantry Dr, Columbus, OH 43232. (614) 575-5150. Took my TLs, and MDXs there. Does a great job and usually 1/2-2/3 the price of the dealership quotes.
