Hello! Noob from Ohio

hey everyone, im a window tinter from cincinnati, ohio. I just picked up a 2004 TL. It has 28,000 original miles on it. Im assuming it is the nighthawk black pearl? I havent had the car in front of me since i bought it....its been at the body shop getting the paint refinished. For the 2 days i had the car, i loved it! very smooth and also surprisingly fuel efficient. Are there any basics i need to look for or learn about it right away? For instance, the engine code, paint code locations, etc. Anway, thanks for havin me!

Congrats WOW 28k Miles
Welcome

Trans flush.
Even though the mileage is low, make sure it has had the timing belt replaced.
Its supposed to be changed within 7 years, or 100k miles.

Great Find !!!

Wow! That's some very low miles. The paint code can be found on the inside of your A-pillar when you open the drivers side door. There's a sticker with the specs on it for paint, tires, etc.

Congrats Welcome to AZ! Check out the 3G garage for tons of info. Also register your TL at www.myacura.com in the USA or https://www.myacura.acura.ca/ in Canada. Save your Navi and Radio codes there. Check for any recalls your TL may need.

^ This, and Check the 3G garage here for other maintinance ( brake fluid flush, coolant flush, air filter, cabin filter, etc...)

If original tires they should be replaced also, because tread depth is not always a deciding factor. GL

ps. stay away from the mods sections lol unless you have strong will power to hold out ( or plenty of moniez lol)
