Hello Everyone!!!

Just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone. Im new to the forum but not new to Honda/Acura cars. Ive had a couple of Hondas and Acuras, last one was a 2000 Civic Si, then I jumped the boat to a 2003 Tahoe Z71. I had my 4x4 kicks for a while but I just had to get back into that Vtec heaven. Tomorrow I'm supposed to pick up my 2004 TL A-Spec in Satin Silver with Ebony interior and I must say I cannot wait!!!! I can probably ramble on and on about how excited I am but I wont bore you guys with that . Anyways, glad to be here and hopefully I'll have pics to share with everyone..

LoL , i guess you're right, too bad the dealership doesnt open this late, I would be there right now. Just a question for everyone with the A-spec package though, i read one post bout it but should I ask for the stock parts after the A-spec install? would be nice to have extra set of wheels.

I feel for you guys waiting on your cars!

I was a lucky one - I went to the dealer to strike a deal on a Friday, and they found one within a few hours drive and had it delivered overnight. I was pretty darn lucky.

Good luck with your new car tomorrow!

Waiting for the 2004 TL jsut plain old sucks.

As soon as the commander (the wife), gave me the approval--I couldn't sleep for 6 weeks!

I knew if I rolled over in the middle of the night and started thinking about the TL, my mind would race at 270 HP.

By the time I picked up the car on 23DEC04, I knew more about this ride than the salesman. Ha ha!

OhSoNiceTL:

word of advice from my experience:
Keep the stereo on, but volume down low--you want to be able to hear the rev's as you shift through the gears.
You are getting the 6MT, aren't you?

Good luck with your new girlfriend...

Welcome OhSoNiceTL I am also a former 2000 Si driver....

You are gonna love your TL. I had to wait about 10 days from the time I struck a deal until mine rolled off the truck. Good luck with it!!!

I do feel for you guys who have to wait. I went into a dealer just to look one afternoon and saw the exact one I wanted on the lot. It had just come off the truck the day before, gone through PDI, and put on the lot that morning. We struck a deal and it was in my garage 4 hours later!

thanks everyone, i am now leaving the house to go pick up my TL, taking the tahoe so i can throw those stock wheels in the back. I hope they dont give me any problems about the stock parts, kinda sucks to start off a new car with bad blood with the dealer. Oh well, guess its not that big of a deal. I just want my car!!!!

Congratulations man!! You'll love it.
Most of my friends have gone to SUVs. "once you own one, you'll never go back to a car" It's all I hear. "My SUV is sooo much more versatile then your TL" Rigghhhttt..
Anyway, you didn't have your TaWhore very long, what made you jump out of it so soon. I'm just curious. Personally, I couldn't stand driving a big SUV EVERY freakin day. Plus the damn MPG would kill me, if I could afford the gas or not, I just couldn't get used to getting 15 mpg. Anyway, don't forget the pics after you get it!! Congrats!!

i just felt the need to get back into a honda/acura car. Once you get bit by the bug it never goes away i guess. I actually love driving the tahoe but just wanted to get back into the swing of things. The tahoe is still there if if want to drive it though, my brother is driving it for now. anyways, I did finally pic up my Aspec TL and I must say I LOVE IT. Im surprised that the ride is still very nice considering the suspension change and the 18 inch wheels. Very pleased with everything. About those pics, just waiting to get my digi back from a friend who doesnt want to give it back. Im sure everyone knows someone like that

Yea, my sales rep was really cool about it. He ended up giving me the stock wheels, springs, struts, steering wheel, side skirts, and threw in some wheel locks too. I dont think I've had service this good in a long time. Very pleased with the whole situation..
