What do you guys think? Even if I don't get this one I want to join the 3G TL club badly.. It would be my first car too.

 

Good price. I'd offer 15k. I'd tell them to keep those Sevas wheels and give you the Type-S than lower it to 14.5k.

you should see the condition of the car in person and test drive before making an offer

Decent price, but I'd certainly go there with just enough cash to use as a deposit and then depending on the area, or a neutral meeting place, give the balance of the cash when title exchanged, or see about the owner going to your bank or a cashier's check. Paterson certainly is far from a Camden, Trenton, or Newark environment, but I'd be tread lightly until I lnew the address.

Also I'd ask him why is he selling it? Is he getting deployed? Just wanting to get a family type vehicle?

Might seem unusual but I've passed on a few cars when the seller couldn't come up with a good reason.

Another I would be interested in but the guy doesn't want any financing involved.. I have the cash in hand to buy a $20k car but I don't want to pay it all cash... I want to build some credit.

i would say no to the second link that u posted ... first one seems like a good deal, i would try to get it for 15k, but like everyone has said, u need to see the car in person and make sure no accidents or anything like that
