Headlight work by JNC
Hey guys,
I sent JNC a question regarding a quad halo + quad zkw-r lenses (w/o the clearing). Anyone have similar work done? I PM'ed him and he hasn't responded. Not sure if he says in one of the threads somewhere that it's not something he does.
Any ideas?
JNC check your PM :-)

I contacted him a while ago. You can't do a quad ZKW lens setup. Even though the DRL lens is similar size there isn't enough room behind the lens in the engine bay to mount the reflector and shutter assembly in the engine bay. If you look at the stock assembly it's easy to see that there's nowhere near enough room for a second one in the DRL spot. The best and seemingly only option is an aftermarket Bi-xenon kit designed for older cars as a retrofit. With some cutting and filing JNC can make it fit in our DRL spot. He estimates the aftermarket kit in the DRL produces about 70% as much light as the stock HID's. They're a little pricey but would be super sweet. If I remember, doing the ZKW-R lens upgrade, new bulbs, and the Bi-Xenon HID's in the DRL was going to run a little over $600. Don't hold me or JnC to that price, I'm just going off of memory from a few months ago.
