Headlight question!!

To change the bulbs do i have to take the whole front bumper off?!

Also the daylight lights. Like the amber corners not the turn signals. That light is out and i went to a local parts store and they acted like there was no other light besides the blinker and the headlight... So i bought the turn signal is that the right light to replace that corner light?!

Sorry noob with Tl's

what year is your TL?

When you say corner light, the only thing that comes to mind is the amber parking lights which is also the turn signal.

It is easier to replace the bulb after you removed the bumper.

It takes a lot of sleight of hand to change out the HID bulbs, and experience with reverse orientation since you are in front of the bulb. The D2S bulb is directional and only fits in one way so if you are skilled enough to fit your hand with the bulb and place it in its proper orientation on the other side of the headlight, then it is possible without having to remove the bumper and headlights.

Another thing to note is that holding the HID bulb cover to the headlight is a small screw with a star shaped pattern. You have to have the tool to remove that screw which is also difficult to get to if you do not have the bumper off.

The corner/parking/turn signal light is 7443 for 2004-2008 base headlights, and 1157 for type-s headlights.

Just take my bumper off. Doing it under the fender pisses me off cause my hands are bigger than the area I'm allowed.

Less hassle, and you'll learn stuff about your carrrr
