Headlight problem + Fog light mod.

Hello. My left headlight has been having this problem where it won't come on right away with the right headlight or sometimes it won't even come on at all. I'd have to turn the headlights off and on a few times for it to come on. I want to take it into the dealership to get it fixed, but I did the Accord fog light mod and was wondering if that is going to void my warranty since I spliced into the stock fog light's wires.

Oh no, this problem with the headlight has been happening even before I did the fog light mod.

maybe the ballast is going bad? try switching the bulbs between the 2 headlights.. that should help figure out if it is the bulb or the ballast.. not sure if the fog light mod has anything to do with it since it is only happening on one side.

I had the same problem bro. I took my TL to the dealership and got charged
about $1,000. Dealership said they replaced the HID bulb, Ballast, & Main unit.
The HID bulb itself was $345.00 (from the dealership). So yeah I was
PISSED OFF when I saw that price tag. But I had to do it. Did not want to drive
around with a headlight out. It sucked for me but I would take it to an
Acura Dealership. That would be your best bet.

Side note: I think all it needed was a new ballast but hey....

seriously try switching the bulbs from either headlight.. its not that hard to switch a light bulb over.. it will tell you if you need a ballast or a bulb.. then just go from there.. if you know how to splice wires then IM sure you can take out the bulbs!

i know nothing about hid kits/ballasts and lights... but I do know what some of the members have already replied... it is the bulb... that is what happens when the bulb goes out...

and as for jays 04 tl paying that much for a bulb... they saw him coming and wrote "CHARGE ME 10 TIMES MORE" on top of his service write up

I asked for an extra pint. LOL
Yeah and I wanted to replace my other bulb too.
I had a set of KAIXEN 6000k's at the time of the
repair. I wanted to replace my other bulb to match but I didnt
want to order it thru the Dealership. Trust me after I saw
$345.00 I wasnt interested in having the Dealership change
my other bulb. I knew the Dealership they was gunna
give it to me raw. I ordered a pair of Phillips 4300K off of Ebay
for $89.00 for replacements. I put the other bulb in myself.
