Headlight Chime Buzzer Delete
Morning! I have searched above & beyond for an answer and I can only get info on exact location of Buzzer on 2G TLs. Anyone knows where the buzzer is exactly located? I know it’s left side driver but I need more specifics please. The headlight on chime annoys the shit outta me! Thanks for any info.

That makes sense, I could see it being nice.
I personally don't do it just because I get paranoid about shortening the ballast or bulb life when I crank the car with the headlights on.
Maybe I'm TOO paranoid, because when I think of it, all these modern cars have auto-on headlights and most people leave it in auto mode, which means the headlights are on at night when they start it up. They don't don't seem to be experiencing any problems I suppose.

It's not so much the fact that the headlights are running longer, it's the fact that voltage fluctuates when cranking the car.
You've obviously never seen the prices parts go for in Canada.
$15 each, AND readily available? Please, send me some

I agree

auto headlights are 'great' for safety, but wreak havoc on the life span of ballasts.
Use a small microfiber towel--color matched, of course!
Auto is fine, and it's actually good to run low power through the wiring to "warm it up" for the big voltage to kick in the starter motor. You should turn off the radio, heater and auto headlights if you want to get the most cranking juice for starting. Then flick the H/L back to auto...

Morning fellas. Update!!! Buzzer is part of the gauge cluster. Now I’d rather cut the wire which gives signal to the buzzer rather than disassemble the whole gauge cluster and destroy the little speaker. I know exactly which connector but don’t know which wire
. Anyone can provide wiring diagram for that area? Much appreciated.

However, it still travels through the front so that’s not a solution. I’m thinking of installing an on/off switch and hiding it under once I figure out the wiring.
