umm, ebay has them for about 400 bucks for 2 complete headlights.... Why would you buy them from the dealership.
EDIT you have a type-S. I wouldn't play with those headlights since they are already black'd-out.
BTW its not that hard to re-seal headlights. And I still don't think type-S lights run 3k, sorry thats outragous.

TL-S Headlight assemblies are about $450 each. That's new OEM headlight assemblies from a dealer.
The TL-S headlights are not blacked out. Not the way guys here black them out, which is a kick ass look.
Maybe for headlights and all the repair work from shorting something out from the condensation? That wouldn't be warranty and the damage could be pretty serious. That's the only way I can see $3k+ in costs.

Black'd out meaning they are already black inside. Not the way that everyone else does them.

I understand they dont run that high price, but when the dealership looks at it and after all is said and done from those scumbags, in "Bergen County" New Jersey, they DEFINITELY would charge that much for labor and fixing the two lights. I would think you would know that living in this scummy part of New Jersey where they love to Bang people out.

I've done this when I had my honda. I did both mine and also a friends. We both sealed it with the original sealant that was already on there. Unless you did something weird unsealing it, there should still be enough adhesive to reseal it. I personally love doing this way because it looks like you never opened them up. Both had no condensation at all. But if you're extra paranoid, you can use silicone seal to re-seal it.

What light? The headlight assembly? The cheapest you're probably going to find them for is on ebay. But you should be able to get rid of the condensation. Its a pain in the ass, but you should be able to get rid of it.
