headligh LED strip mod

I have seen many azine members with led strips on their cars to have the similar look as an audi. I also have led strips in my headlights, but i was looking for something a little more spaced out so it'll have spacing between them like the audis. Has anyone done this?

I used the thin led strips in white.

http://www.oznium.com/thin-led-strip

I had to cover every other led to space them out.

Brian, give us an update...how are they holding up? The reason I ask is because I know others have had problem before. Also what did you use to cover up every other one-I forgot (from your original post).

Thanks....

They're holding up fine, they're not on usually so it'll preserve led life if you have an independent switch. They seem to be pretty legit.

I used electrical tape to cover every other one.

Shoot, if I had those LED's on my headlights, I'd run them all the time.

yea, thats true you do need an independent switch, i had an issue with my leds to soo looking to change the leds to a different style also. Curious tho, the leds are shaped in a square yet they give out a circle output, is this how it will be or is it because of the camera the light is showing up like a circle?

I used this computer hook up, I just cut off the multipronged connector since that's for a computer.

And like I mentioned in the PM, yes they are squarish LEDs but they appear spherical with respect to light output.

What about this?

It appears to be fairly spaced out

Do you really want an orange strip in your black headlight? lol

I chose the thin led strips because they're black and are "camouflaged"
