Howdy folks,

I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger on an 04 TL. The xenon lights are a big deal to me and I've looked at a lot of other cars that have these lights. All other cars have had some sort of headlamp washing system. The TL doesnt seem to have that. Have any of you had problems with crud getting caked on your xenons? I'm not a real good car washer, so this is somewhat of a concern for me.

 

unless you are playin with your car in the mud a lot, there is no need for headlamp washers

If you do worry about this and you don't like to wash your car often, you could use wet-bounty paper to wipe out your headlight sometimes. :o

 

My 2 previous cars had xenons with washer nozzels. I never used the washers... but then again, I do wash my car regularly.

I would love headlight washers! Even the New Beetles now come with headlight washers. My ML had them. My S60 T5 had wipers, those looked kinda gay tho.

 

Prior to the TL I owned 2 BMW's both with Xenon. Didn't need the washers at all. Most BMW's I see with Xenon (at least in Texas and California) don't seem to have them...

 

I forgot some cars even have headlight washers
