Hawaii freeways sucks!

Well anyways I was on the freeway heading home. All of sudden a fuckin cone appears out of no where and I ended up hitting it! It kinda cracked my front lip a little bit. I was wondering if I get an a spec kit would it cover that damage area or no?

You need to get a pair of license plate bumper plugs in addition to the front lip.

Thanks for your reply guys. I try checking on the acura website for the lip, but it only shows parts for the 09 TL. I was wondering how much of a hole its gonna leave in my pocket?

Call Tim @ hondacuraworld.com and see what he can do for you. He will prolly get it to you cheaper than your dealer or the acura.com site.

That sucks, but you can have that happen anywhee. I was driving on Kauai recently and the roads weren't great, but no worse than here in Washington.

I notice that A spec lip it gets rid of the chrome trim by the fog lights. Or am I mistaken?

Ok one last question. Does the kit over lap the stock lip? or do you have to take off the stock and put the a spec on separate?

damn that suck...but yeah i feel ya...i HATE the streets of hawaii...but dang, a cone did that to your front end...i can't stand all those dumb steel plates all over fort weaver rd and downtown/waikiki area, that's a different story...and POTHOLES, i hate dodging them things...but yes, definately you should just get a front lip rather than fixing it

Lol.. I just moved away a few months ago.. I had a sick '93 accord.. slammed.. cambered.. 18's.. clears.. I dreaded the old ft. weaver.. not to mention Kalakaua and Kapiolani.. WTF!?! all the contstruction.. new potholes everyday.. I bent two rims and rashed three.. Argh!

Ever Drive Saddle Road between Mauna Kea and Waimea.. Whoa! lol.. I would never take my baby up there.. maybe if I had a STi.. independent suspension.. and a 4" lift.. lol..

I miss the islands though.. Trust me.. working on your car in 20 degree weather is not fun!
