having only A-spec front lip kit

What's up guys... yesterday, I washed my car and found my rear mud-guard carried so many rocks and small pieces of glasses and etc., which protected well from my under body getting damaged (rear mud-guard has little pocket thingie). Good job!!

I know with A-spec kits, you cannot put mud-guards. And in my opinion, I can only have front lip and live with that. So has anyone only done front lip kit and everything else stock? How does it look?

If you put the whole kit on....the lip extends out further to compensate a bit for the loss of the mud guards.

I'm in the same boat as you. I purchased the front a-spec lip only and splash guards. I plan on installing it when it gets warmer. The instructions say to wait until it is 60 degrees outside.

If you do a search I think there are a couple of people that just did front lip. It was either because they didn't have the money yet to purchase the rest of the kit or they are planning on buying something else.

In my opinion I didn't see that big of a difference between the OEM side skirts and rear deck to warrant the extra $500 or so for the parts.

I tried it for a while... it looks okay from some angles and wrong in other angles. I got the whole kit and highly prefer the finished look of the whole kit. You would probably decide the same thing after a while.

Where can you buy the A-spec body kit separately (other than dealership)? I just checked out hondacuraworld and the pieces weren't listed separately. Only the group buy kit, which I would totally get if I had the money

I'm sorry, I havent researched this at all, but 267 +/- whatever seems like a reasonable price for just the front lip. I've also thought about doing this. Does it come painted? I know the side skirts (stock ones) do and am curious if the aspec lip does as well.

Front Lip Only

I just did the front lip because I think it looks much cleaner that way. The overall style of the car looks great to me as it is. I like the stock side skirts, and I think the back end looks great like it is. The front lip gives the front end a more agressive look and accentuates the downward back to front slope of the car. Don't get me wrong. I've see a lot of the A-Spec kits and I think they look good. I just like to steer away from the over styled look. The rear end of the A-Spec kit kind of reminds me of a Grand Am. I like it with the front lip only and the mud guards, but hey!! Each to their own tase.
Either way its a beautiful automobile! I could have bought a lot more expensive car, but to me, this is the best car for the money out there. Best looking too! I'm proud to be a TL Owner. (Oh yeah...NBP Rules!!)

i have a WDP with only the front lip. i didn't purchase the whole kit cuz it was too pricey, plus i don't think the rear looks all that great for light colored TL's; looks good for the dark TLs. the front lip looks great and still looks level with the rest of the stock underbody.
i paid about $400 (dealer) for just the lip when i bought the car, cuz i was too excited and wanted it right away. i then bought a deck lid spoiler from ebay.

Front lip is a must!!!!

I'm pretty sure hondaacuraworld could beat that price listed above. I bought mine when he was doing the group buy and paid around $235 shipped. I only bought the front lip and it came painted.
