Well, some dumbass backed into my 3.5 month old TL at work and hauled ass. No note or anything, just an ugly gash in my rear bumper and a scuff from what looks like a trailer hitch.

I just left the TL with my Acura dealership's body shop to replace the bumper. Said they can't order a painted bumper. All replacement bumpers have to be painted.

So, I need help. What do I need to check when I pick the TL? I've never had any body work done on any of my cars. Hopefully, all they will be replacing is the bumper.

Do a search on paint flop or look up my posts on paint flop. That will give you my experiences with getting the bumper re-painted. It was a pain but in the end, the color match looks better than stock.
