??

What the hell would you do with that? I'm assuming you are not a public safety officer, so please correct me if I'm wrong. I would think that, without an audible siren, it would be generally ineffective.

I have a small ultrasonic and somethingsonic that ticks and chirps for use in deer country- it really does well with animals -keeps them back off the roads edge,
and has a setting for in town use- the 2 tone clicking does get kids playing in the street attention and they look up
it was ~25 bucks iirc- jcwhitney

Its great for the bike, good for the car if you live in animal country and get fog..deer love that combo to jump out in front of you

and all animals I have encountered including kangaroos!... with the exception of cows-
But Ive never had a cow dart suddenly in my path on a foggy morn

I say no but hey if you like it do it. Don't be surprised though if you end up with a ticket for if any thing being to loud. LOL I plan on putting these on my 05 TL in a stealth location if I can find one and only if I can find one under side of the car or under the hood this spring.
http://www.hornblasters.com/products...-p3-train-horn

That I was able to get form....some one/place....for free. The air tank and compressor needed to get them to run will be in the trunk. I do plan on sooner or later getting a ticket....but hey I only plan on using them when some one gets in my way. LOL and will be my self defense /learning tool for the jerks on the road.

I have to wonder if the Rumbler is illegal to use of even have on vehicle that is not emgency vehicle though. If it is I wouldn't waist any money or effort on one cause you will get caught with it ....It's just a matter how long it will take and the penitently of having it.

Why waste the money (if that's your only intended purpose for it)? You're either (A) gonna slip up and get popped by an undercover like someone mentioned. (B) Hit it at 80 yr old who's "in your way" and cause them to wreck. (C) Hit it at those "jerks that cut you off" who probably aren't all there to begin with and watch them slow down even more just to piss you off or spend the next 30 miles with them riding your ass.

Not my style, but I'm all for the novelty of the train horns. If this is the best reason you can give for wanting this, then you might as well just set up something that says "I'm an asshole. MOVE!!!" when you hit the horn. Who's the bigger jerk? The people that slow YOU down or cut YOU off? Or you scaring and offending EVERYONE around you. Patience is a virtue, kid.

And I think the OP has been cyber-bullied into not responding.

Had a Train Horn on a 2002 Ford 350 Xtra Cab.... Scared people half to death.... but did nothing but set off car alarms..... Grow up and get a CCW..... Carry a hand gun because when you need help within seconds the cops are only minutes away.....

GUNS? why not take steroids? Dude, around here it is unheard of to get a pistol carry permit, unless you are a cop. Its sad that confrontation comes to that, but what happened to the good old days when fist were thrown and people weren't getting jumped. I myself got jumped on my 22nd birthday and its not fun, good thing I take boxing lessons and know how to fight. 3 on 13 leads to disaster, and it started from NOTHING. I can go on forever, but I do not promote violence.

BTW- is that a boston terrier on your avatar? I have three of them and love them. My one is 39 pounds, brindle and looks like a pit. There entertaining and fun.

CC is a great responsibility and not for someone who would pull their gun when engaged with an unarmed individual, it's for those times when all else fails, which for most people will never happen. I was raised to use my words to diffuse a confrontation, but if necessary to use my fists & feet.. but when someone confronts you or your family with a weapon, will you wish you had a gun or phone?

Yeah.. I wish this thread was in ramblings. It still wouldn't go anywhere, but it would be a lot more entertaining..
