Has anyone else had puckered or tented seats?

I'ver read the many posts about the impressions left in the seat after you get out of the car, but I have the opposite problem. My two back seats have become puckered or tented. It would be like if you could get underneath the seat material and you pushed up with your fingers. It is like a litttle crumpled tent in the middle of the seat.

I'm about to complain to the dealer (this shouldn't happen after one week) but I'm wondering if others have been down this road before. I wonder what they can do about it short of replacing the entire seat.

I've go the problem of impressions left in the seat and i'm starting to worry about the life expectancy of the seat material. No problems with tenting on any seats.

I've got the exact same "tenting" problem on the driver's-side rear seat.

I have tenting as well. I believe it's caused by the fact the leather is perforated and no so much by the use of inferior leathers but that could be a factor as well. My last two cars had non perforated leather and both held up very nicely for over 200K miles of use.
If it is caused by the perforations, what do you think the dealer can do about it?

Did you take it to the dealer? What did they say? The only thing I can think they would have to do is replace the entire back seat which would be major surgery and quite scary. I'm afraid it would introduce a new set variables for fitting, rattles, etc.

It's not life threatening but it is annoying to see after just 7 days.
