Has anyone benefited from VSA?

I bought mine after last winter and haven't had any experience with VSA. Does it really work? What kind of accident were you able to avoid? Has anyone seen it activating on dry or wet surface other than snow/ice? Following is from Acura website.

"Let's say you enter a corner and conditions are such that your vehicle begins to spin out, or "oversteer," the VSA automatically corrects the problem by applying brakes to the outside front wheel. This reverses the potential spin and puts you back on track." - you gotta be driving darn fast into corner to see this happening on dry pavement

Best stability system in the market, worth a million bucks in slippery conditions.
CAUTION!!!!! Will not compensate for blatant stupidity

I had mine come on a few times...in rain if I accelerate and hydroplan, I see the little triangle with the exclamation mark on my ODO...I notices right after the VSA activates the car get in to low gear and revs high...and stay there for a few unless you move to SS and up-shift.

Mine kicked in a couple times while driving home in very heavy rain. I hit a few big puddles on the freeway and the indicator on the dash lit up. I wouldn't say it "saved me" in those cases, though, as I was just going straight anyway. It kept me from over-revving the wheels, I suppose.

I have not seen it kick on while cornering, but I tend to drive according to the conditions and I haven't had any emergency situations, yet.

Just once...entered a turn a little "hotter" that I should have and there was sand on the road surface. The car began to push and I could feel the VSA backing off of the throttle and whatever else it does to get me back on line. Phew!

Funny, but i don't feel the VSA working too well. My TL is pretty bad about skidding and losing traction easily on curves. I hate that.

Blame that on the tires, not the VSA.

I haven't trigger mine yet, but I hope this 4 channel system is better than the 2G TL's.
