Harmonic balancer blew apart on me on my way home from work last week, ordered a new one, aftermarket because that’s all that my funds let me order. Anywho, put it on, runs fine but check engine light came on a few days later, scanned codes and has multiple cylinder miss fire. Did I maybe install wrong? It’s keyed so I figured I just install it like nothing mattered. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

Did you recheck timing?

once the harmonic balancer goes, the engine can end up out of time and end up causing valve damage
