Well, it has been almost a year that I have owned my 2004 TL 6MT A-SPEC (a-spec suspension,a-spec kit, a-spec steering wheel, 8.5" a-spec gunmentals, etc...) Before this car, I had a civic, prelude, and s2000 that were all full of mods. The other day I ordered an AEM V2, and will be ordering a comptech exhaust shortly. I am super excited to the V2 on! I can't stop looking for other parts...oh no..this is bad!

 

What color is your car? I just got aspec wheels for my SSM but havent installed them yet. Would like to get an idea of how they look on an ssm if yours happens to be. If not, pics would still be nice.

 

Oh and I got the aem v2 as well but havent installed that yet either lol.

 

i installed the v2 the same day i got it lol it replaced a v1 so it was pretty easy

 

Yea, I am not wooried about the install at all. I will reference the diy vidoes, but I have installed plenty of intakes on my cars and friends as well. Now as for the exhaust, that will be a differant story. Once I get it, I will need some help with that bad boy!

 

Congrats! The mod bug is nasty. It's hard to stop that itch.

It has to be the weather.

I have a big modding fever right now as well.

I need to relax as soon as I get my next mod.

 

It isn't the weather, my friend. This bug knows no season. It just easier to do the mods in Spring/Summer.

I was thinking the same thing. It's been cool during the cold months as far as not touching the car but deep down i knew the mod bug was dorment just waiting to come out...well its out...out of control! I gotta get off here...this site doesn't help AT ALL!

 

and to expand...which of the four aspec wheel colors do you have?...thats for both of you

I apologize to all for not providing pictures! AEM V2 arrives today!!! Will take lots of pics during install. I also placed my order for the rear roof spoiler!!! I will get on the ball and share everything with all of my fellow acurazine friends!!! I plan on busting out the laptop and following the DIY 3G CAI install video verbatim!!! Any suggestions? Well, Friday evening I tackled the project...simple! This is my first time posting pictures so bare with me...

You'll love the Comptech exhaust system .. it sounds even better with J-pipe / 3rd cat delete though .

 

I just realized that AEM provided the wrong sticker kit with my system. My sticker does not say V2, as I think it is supposed to be for a CAI or short ram setup.

 

its only a sticker bruh and u need to lower ur car it looks like a 4 x 4

anyways lower the car and get some stuff call Bar Keepers friend from winn dixie and clean your exhaust with it.. trust me on that one!

 

Forgot to get back with you Doctor. I just got the first percription filled...just ordered 2 SSM bumper plugs for $12.37 shipped!!!

Well thank you, but here is the thing. When I purchased this car, the full A-SPEC was already installed. I actually find it to be a little odd that:

#1 The previous owner was registered to Honda Motor Company listed as "Corporate"
#2 Full complete A-SPEC kit (steering wheel, 18" 8.5" gunmetals, A-SPEC lip kit, A-SPEC deck spoiler, and A-SPEC suspension
#3 Nearly every accessory possible is on this car i.e. colored body molding and colored door edge guards
#4 the rare combination of NAVI and 6MT and all the goodies that accompany the 6MT (Brembos, LSD, larger sways)
#5 the rare combination of NAVI and EBONY
#6 the rare combination of all of these put together to answer the question for me which was, "Can I find the absolute perfect car I want?"

I happened to luck out last year when I found this beauty. I am guessing it was some corporate executive with Honda who drove this thing and I am guessing babied it. It only had 32,000K miles on it when I purchased May of 2009 and the car is a 2004.

These are all only my opinions and I am not even sure if these combos make it "rare". I am just happy its everything I wanted put together in one solid car!

 

My roof spoiler is en route and scheduled for delivery today! Will post pictures when I install in later this evening! I had ordered one a few weeks ago, and when it came it had a few deficiencies so I sold it to another member. Stay tuned!

 

Dang, this guy was bit hard.......

 

All i wanted to do was change the interior lights to led's and 2 years later i am nearing completion of my car.

 

The doctors say there is nothing that can be done. Spoiler is on hand...looks perfect. When I get home from work I will get pictures of the install!
