halo lights questions???!!

ok this might be a stupid question but im new when it comes to headlights.

are the halos for looks or are they good lights for driving at night? i guess my question is when using the halos at night, would i still have to use my regular headlights?

They're certainly bright if you go about it correctly, but they should by no means be used as driving lights. Halo's (or angel-eyes whatever) are purely a cosmetic upgrade.

Nope, same deal. They won't project in the same way that your headlights do - and you will get pulled over for running halo's only.

Yes the halos are just for looks. They make great parking lights but horrible driving lights.

that sucks. that kind of kills the halos for me. they look good but i dont think they are worth that much money just for the looks.

Um people are putting led strips. to tell you the truth either blacking them out or clearing them and getting the led towers will be perfectly fine. It looks good like that. I don't know we dont drive a bimmer or an audi so halos and leds are whatever.

halo's are for looks really ,light output is so low,but if parked in front of a wall 5-10 feet away it will reflect. Also if you know where to get the lights and are capable of a little work you can probally do them for $30-$40 bucks. Not very expensive at all.The only reason they cost so much is the labor.

The Audi LED strips are very bright, and they are used as DRL's, the BMW halo's aren't as bright, but they can be used as DRL's. As well the LED's and the Halo's are another trademark that brands use, like acura now has the beak on the newer cars.

The company Umnitza is horrible! Just search around on bimmerfest, they don't respond to customer problems, products go bad after 3 months and the mail looses every return package sent to them...
