has anyone replaced the tl lights with the bmw halo lights?? cuz i think that looks amazing and im trying to see if i can get some

 

I think I would have bought a bimmer if I really wanted halo on the TL. I saw those halo lights in a civic and I personally think they seem a bit ricey....kinda seem outta place.

 

I think they're referred to as 'angel eyes' or something like that, which should help searching the forums.

Yeah, it's a signature BMW design... whatever, it's your car.

Some TSX folks have done this, and there are directions posted online if you google it.

 

no i was just curious cuz yeah i think it is angel eyes... but yeah i noticed it the other day persnoally i love the xenon lights cuz u can always tell that its newer cuz its white.. but i was just wondering

 

Angel eyes = real :ghey: sounding to me.....just doesnt sound manly....nor like something you should do for an Acura. But...just my opinion...its your car...and you should definately be happy with it. If it suits you...go for it!

What if one was to use red? Than it wouldn't be "signature BMW" and would contrast nicely with the existing lights?

It's a matter of personal preference. I think if done right they don't look too bad, I saw them at a meet on an is300 and they looked nice, granted IIRC one side had died. The real headlights wash them out though, so if you like to drive with your heads on, it is definatly not worth it.
