Question H8 Fog Light Connectors

I've called around and no one seems to have it. I'm looking for the male connector into 07 TL stock harness. So it will be a 2 prong wire that looks just like the H8 blubs. doesn't anyone know where I can get them? I really don't want to make my own plugs. TIA.

Found this page... but it looks like the only H8 may be female...

Are you trying to hook up HID's to the fogs, or something?

Also found this site for you...

Again, for some reason you can get everything BUT H8 males... what the hell???

(Just so you know when searching H8, and H11 are the same size harness)

thanks for the help, I'll take the look at the sites. yes i'm trying to put hid in my fog light. The reason I'm trying to find the plug is that I am using a relay and want to use the original harness as my switch.

One thing to think about....

When you turn your foglights "on" the car is expecting to see 35W drawn from the light. If you just use that for your signal wire to the relay, it likely will not draw 35W, in which case it will stop sending power to that harness, thinking it has a burned out light.

You can try it, but I'm not sure if it will work.

Thanks for the pointer. I think as long as I ground the other one current should just flow right through? I actually hav someone who is going to help me out with the wiring and I'm just getting the parts to make everything look nice and clean.
It seems like it worked the other day but I think we had some feedback problem. Need to put some diodes in and see how that works.

I struggled for a while trying to get my HID's to work...

Finally ran separate wiring... used a relay... and used my low beam headlight wire and piggy-backed off that for my "signal" wire to the relay... works like a charm!

Either that, or I could have ran a separate switch into the cabin, but I never turn my foglights OFF when my headlights are on, so it works well.

This is a bit off topic, however, I figured since you guys have modified your fogs you might have a suggestion. Is there a way to rewire the fogs so they I can have them on without having to have the headlights on as well? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

Right now the easiest way I know will be using your parking lights as your light switch. There is a few problems which made me decide not to use it. 1) parking light flashes when arm/disarm alarm which will cause fog to flash 2) I can't turn off it if headlights are on 3) Need to tap into breaklight. The good thing is that you can have it on without your headlight on. I think you can use another relay to use your fog switch to turn off the fog if the headlight is on. The problem is that the fog switch will then be set to on to turn off fog and vice versa.

Other option. Does anyone know I can get H8 bulbs cheap or even find broken ones?

The best solution is to use the wire going to the Driver's side headlight. It's easy to get to, and won't have any of those problems you just listed.

That, or just makde a simple switch in the cabin.
