My friend recently bought a 2010 gti 6mt. Had a little go with it. From about 10mph we floored it and i basically walked him no trouble. I thought they'd be a bit faster. Hes not too good at shifting the car yet cuz he only got it last week, but pretty sure i would still beat him when he gets better.

 

niceee....i cant wait until i can start adding my performance mods...what do you plan on doing to yours?

 

the dsg with its closer gearing will be a closer race. I'd also imagine with a bit more mileage on his car and after he gets used to his car, the race will also be closer.

 

i was dead even with a modded GTI until the top of 2nd and then pulled 3rd. it had an exhaust and really loud turbo whine but the guy claimed it wasnt chipped yet.

 

The new GTI's look like cheap econoboxes... I much rather have an older one... Or an M6 TL-S for that matter...

 

what car? is it the 1999 TL in your sig?
