I am not sure if I want the TL or the RL for 05?

Well considering your only 35 I think you should get a TL. Your not THAT old for an RL......yet....

Isn't the RL larger, and the TL the same size as my 03 Accord EX V6?

Not only is RL larger, nicer and more expensive, but also 05RL will equip with SH-AWD system and more goodies. If you couldn't decide, you should wait for Oct. and test-drive both of them before making your final decision.

The '05 RL is not the same old stodgy RL we've known the last few years. I think that it is going to be an ass-kicker. I love my TL, but if I was in the market for a new car now, I would probably go with the RL (after a test drive).

and that's coming from an old 34 year old .

ehhh looks too much like a big camry. TL is more sporty

i have been seing somethign out there... i think that the 2004 TOYOTA SOLERA or how ever you spell it has the front of the new RL and the back of the new 645i's...

I considered an RL, but could not justify the difference. Even though the RL is longer and heavier, look at the specs below

Specs for the 04 TL vs. 04 RL

Headroom, front -0.1” rear +0.4”
Legroom, front +0.7” rear -0.5”
Shoulder room, front +1.4”, rear -0.6”
EPA Passenger Volume, +1.7 Cu. Ft.
Trunk volume -2.5 Cu. Ft.
Wheelbase -6.5”
Length -10.4”
Height +2.2”
Weight -311 lbs.
Horsepower +45
EPA mpg +4(highway) +2(city)

The main noticable differences are the trunk volume and horsepower.
