Got rear ended, where should I buy a new bumper cover?
So I got rear ended late last night by a driver who "closed his eyes for a second" while driving behind me. It was relatively low speed. There are a few small scuff marks on the bumper, a faint imprint of his license plate on my rear bumper, 2 screw indentations. Also, the edges of my bumper near the rear mudguards do not fit flush, and the part of the bumper cover underneath the outer edges of the taillights are sticking out a little bit, I can push them inwards and it flexes in and out.
I have a 2008 NBP TL-S and I need a new bumper cover and possibly the brackets around part of the bumper. Where is the cheapest place I can buy a bumper / have it shipped? Any recommendations where I can get the bumper painted? Acura 2000 in Brampton quoted me 378 to just paint the bumper, and 750 to PATCH the original bumper

Ouch! Glad no one is hurt and the damage is fairly minor. Check with Tim at www.hondacuraworld.com. I think you can order them already painted. Looks like they are $233.00.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Any idea if he ships to Canada? From what I searched, that site seems to be the one, but I'm worried about getting dinged by duties.
Also, anyone think I'm going to have issues mounting my bumper if some of the clips are broken? I'm going to take pics when I'm home from work tonight.

Will do. I will give him a call during my lunch hour. I was hoping I could find something local.
What do you guys think about paint matching with the NBP? My car is only about 1.5 years old. Do you think the dealer does a better job at paint matching over a 3rd party body shop?

Cool, good to know. I'm not too worried about matching because my car has spent very little time out in the sun and it's still pretty new.
hondaacuraworld referred me to their Canadian sister branch, which quoted me 325 + tax canadian, so $367.25 cad for an unpainted bumper. The local acura dealer quoted me $380 to paint it, which alltogether is ~$750, the same price they quoted to patch up and paint my original bumper. I'm thinking I'll find a 3rd party body shop and have the bumper painted, and I'll install it myself.
So what's a fair price for painting a primed bumper?
